Notes on conditions of use

The group leader is responsible for the safety and welfare of the group. He/she must read the fire notices, which are posted in each building, and ensure that all members of the group are aware of evacuation procedures and assembly points in the event of a fire.

Fire extinguishers and alarm systems are for emergency use only - costs incurred by improper use will be charged against the group concerned: $80 per refill of each extinguisher.

Smoking is not permitted inside any building.

Alcohol is not generally permitted on the premises. However, for special functions the Camp Manager may give permission provided a bond is paid and strict adherence to specific conditions is agreed to.

Clean Up: Please follow the procedures that are posted in each building. It is important to allow sufficient time for this task. If facilities are not adequately cleaned, an extra fee will be charged for cleaners to be employed.

There will be an extra charge for any damage.

Full payment is due on arrival at Camp Wainui, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Camp Manager.

Animals are not to be brought on to the Camp grounds without prior approval from the Camp Manager.

Please drive slowly and carefully in the Camp grounds.
